If a tax application for termination of activity is assigned the status “Not accepted” in the ISNA Taxpayer Cabinet (KNP ISNA), the taxpayer should first review the official electronic notice of acceptance or non-acceptance of documents. After the grounds for refusal have been eliminated, the application may be filed again in the general procedure.

Typical situation

An application for termination of activity (liquidation / deregistration) is rejected. How can the reason be viewed, and how should a new application be submitted taking the previous refusal into account?

How to correct it

In KNP ISNA (https://knp.kgd.gov.kz), go to Documents → My documents → Tax application. The history of submitted tax applications is available there, including applications for termination of activity.

If the state revenue authority refuses deregistration, the application is given the status “Not accepted”.

To see the reason, click the status and open the electronic notice of acceptance or non-acceptance of documents. The notice states the legal and factual grounds for refusal (for example, outstanding tax or social payments, missing liquidation tax reporting, unfulfilled notices, or failure to meet the conditions of the simplified procedure).

After the causes of refusal have been removed, the taxpayer may resubmit the tax application for termination of activity through KNP ISNA in the general procedure.

Legal basis

The procedure for termination of activity and the grounds for refusal of deregistration are set out in the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Taxes and Other Obligatory Payments to the Budget” of 18 July 2025 No. 214-VIII (Tax Code of the RK), including the rules on simplified termination of activity for certain categories of individual entrepreneurs and on fulfilment of tax obligations upon liquidation / cessation of activity.
