Today, at a Government meeting chaired by First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurlybek Nalibayev, issues of ensuring the quality and safety of highways were considered. The region's Akim Murat Ergeshbayev took part in the meeting via videoconference and delivered a report.
At a meeting held after the Government session, the quality of republican-significance highways under construction in the region was discussed, as well as issues of monitoring the movement of heavy-duty freight vehicles.
In this regard, KazAvtoZhol was instructed to limit the overloading of contractor organizations transporting construction materials, and in case of violation of requirements — to take appropriate measures jointly with authorized bodies.
Currently, construction is underway in the region along the Kyzylorda — Saksaulsk, Saksaulsk — Beyneu, and Saksaulsk — Ulgaysyn directions, as well as a ring road around the city of Kyzylorda. For the future, it was instructed to introduce an automatic truck weighing system.
The progress of project implementation is under the special control of the Head of State and the Government. Responsible officials have been instructed to monitor the quality of work and adhere to established deadlines.
The section of the Kyzylorda — Zhezkazgan highway from the 24th to the 216th kilometer was put into operation in October of last year. In accordance with the instruction of First Deputy Prime Minister Nurlybek Mashbekuly, the current condition of the highway was studied.
At present, the necessary measures are being taken to ensure that the constructed roads are of high quality and serve for a long time.
