The most qualified operational staff from all regions of the country participated in the traditional republican competition, which was held in Almaty. The competition consisted of several stages, including a drill review, testing for knowledge of the law, compliance with standards for physical training and shooting from service weapons.
The republican competition was held with the active participation of the Almaty Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which provided a platform and the best specialists for the event.

Thanks to the professionalism and integrity of the employees, most of the offenses in the republic are revealed in hot pursuit. When there are such professionals, citizens can sleep peacefully," the organizers noted.
According to the results of the competitive tests, the title of “Best operative” was awarded to the operative of the criminal police of the Abai region police Department, police captain Kuanysh Zaripov. His experience and dedication played a key role in achieving victory. Kuanysh dreamed of becoming a policeman since childhood, and his desire to solve crimes and fight crime became the main engine of his career.
— I've always wanted to protect people and make our world safer. This victory is the result of hard work and striving for self—improvement," he shared.
The second place was taken by the operative of the criminal police of the Almaty city Police Department, police Captain Zhasulan Taubai, and the third place was taken by the senior special affairs officer of the Turkestan region Police Department, police Captain Ermek Shakim.
All participants showed a high level of training and professionalism.
