Almaty will increase the financing of expenses for landscaping and landscaping of the city. This was announced by the mayor of the megalopolis Yerbolat Dosayev during the session of the city maslikhat, which considers the city's budget for 2025-2027.
"Within the framework of the Taza Kazakstan program initiated by the Head of State, the Akimat is taking systematic measures to improve and green our beloved city. These are our main priorities for creating a comfortable urban environment and improving the quality of life of Almaty residents," Yerbolat Dosayev said.
Thus, financing of expenses for landscaping and landscaping of the city will increase by 40% from 121.6 billion tenge in 2024 to 170.5 billion tenge in 2025.
Also, the successful implementation of the program "Budget of public participation" continues in Almaty. Over the past three years, 938 projects worth 39.1 billion tenge have been implemented, including 18.8 billion tenge in 2024. For 2025, the budget provides for 17.1 billion tenge.
As Yerbolat Dosayev noted during his speech, the program "Budget of People's Participation" has become an effective tool for implementing the ideas and wishes of citizens, and the Akimat of Almaty intends to support its development.
It should be noted that according to the proposals of Almaty residents, yard territories, children's and sports grounds were landscaped, new public spaces, pedestrian zones were created, and outdoor lighting lines were drawn.
