The Ministry of Health of the country has signed an agreement with Orhun Medical for the implementation of eight large-scale projects in the field of healthcare. Among them is the creation of modern positron emission tomography centers in a number of regions, which will significantly improve the quality of cancer diagnosis.

In particular, it is planned to open one of such centers in Aktobe, which will be an important step in the development of the medical infrastructure of the region.
Akim of Aktobe region Askhat Shakharov met with the General Director of Orhun Medical Gonench N. Dirik and discussed issues related to the implementation of the project to open a center in the region.
During the meeting, Gonench N. Diric stressed that Aktobe is an important region for the company, and the creation of an oncodiagnostic center will allow residents of the region to undergo advanced diagnostic tests without leaving the region. He noted that the launch of the center will be the first stage in the development of large-scale projects in the field of cancer control.
"For many years, patients from the Aktobe region have been seeking help from specialized cancer diagnosis centers. Soon, a new cancer diagnostic center will be opened in Aktobe, which will allow all necessary examinations to be carried out directly on the spot. This will greatly simplify access to diagnostics for patients, eliminating the need for them to travel to Astana or Almaty. The opening of the center is only the first stage of a large project. In the future, it is planned to implement new initiatives aimed at the treatment of cancer",

Akim of the region Askhat Shakharov expressed support for the company's initiative and noted the importance of the project to improve the quality of medical services and accessibility of diagnostics.
The positron emission tomography center in Aktobe is planned to be launched next year.
