The Social tab has been created on the Skills Enbek platform, where Kazakhstanis belonging to socially vulnerable segments of the population will be given the opportunity to study at some paid courses for free.
To start studying, citizens need to confirm the compliance of their status with the help of EDS when choosing a course in the "Social" tab. After successful completion of the verification, the course will be available in the user's personal account.
Now the new section contains several courses with sign language translation in applied specialties such as felting and sewing, as well as skills in the field of environmental and social education. These courses were developed by the Qolqanat Foundation as part of the Inclusive Craft project, implemented with the support of USAID.
Recall that the Skills Enbek platform is a Kazakhstani analogue of international training platforms that provide access to courses on the principle of a marketplace. Since its launch, Skills Enbek has hosted more than 600 courses in various fields, half of which are available for free. The platform has already attracted over 474 thousand registered users, of whom more than 390 thousand have successfully completed their training.
