Akim of the region Abai Nurlan Urankhayev held a meeting with residents of the Zhanasemey district. During the meeting, the head of the region spoke about the work done and answered questions from the population. At the end of the meeting, a personal reception of citizens took place, during which comprehensive answers to all appeals were given.
"Our region is constantly working to improve the living conditions and improve the well-being of each of us. The most important task is to create a comfortable and safe environment for all residents of the region. Your active participation in the life of the region is key to its development. Large-scale work was carried out in the region last year, and this year we continue to implement significant projects aimed at improving infrastructure, developing education and healthcare," the governor of the region said.
According to the results of 11 months of 2024, there is a positive trend in the region's economy. The number of small and medium-sized businesses has grown to 55,442, of which 734 are registered in the Zhanasemy district. The district demonstrates high potential in the agricultural sector: the volume of gross output for 10 months amounted to 18.5 billion tenge, and the index of physical volume reached 101.6%. Agricultural production is also at a high level: 13 thousand tons of meat, 7 thousand tons of milk, 2.7 million eggs were produced.
In 2024, large-scale infrastructure improvement works began in the district. 88 houses with a total area of 5,916 sq. m. were purchased for socially vulnerable citizens. Construction of water supply networks has been completed in the villages of Akbulak and Polovinka, similar work is underway in Algabas and Shagan. Street lighting has been installed in four localities, and lighting projects will cover six more rural districts in the near future.
Construction works are underway in the village of Algabas to provide residents with high-quality drinking water. Construction of water supply networks has begun in the village of Shagan, which is scheduled to be completed in the third quarter of 2025. Design and estimate documentation has been developed for the construction and reconstruction of water supply networks in the villages of Talitsa and Prirechnoye, positive expert opinions have been received. A budget application has been submitted to the relevant department for the implementation of the projects.
There are 18 schools in the district, of which five require major repairs. As part of the three-year plan, 11 educational institutions are planned to be modernized by 2027. In 2024, a modern kindergarten for 70 places was opened in the village of Ozerki, and in the first quarter of 2025, a children's institution for 60 places will start operating in the village of Prirechnoye.
In the field of culture, with the support of the Demeu Foundation, the House of Culture in Ozerki is being renovated, and a new cultural center is being built in Shulba. Modern sports modules were opened in Shulba and Algabas. Projects have also been developed for the construction of sports and recreation complexes in three villages.
