As you know, on December 29, 2023, the design code of Almaty was approved by the decision of the Maslikhat.
Today, the akimat is developing new Rules for decorative and lighting design of facades of houses along main streets. This will create a harmonious appearance of the city and improve the perception of the urban environment at night.
In addition, in order to improve the aesthetic appearance of the city, the facades of 355 houses worth 5 billion tenge were repaired in 2022-2024. In 2025-2026, it is planned to repair another 296 facades.
Recall that the design code is a set of applications, each of which describes a separate direction. There were six such applications: outdoor information, navigation, outdoor furniture, landscaping, facades and fences. On behalf of the Mayor of Almaty, the seventh application for lighting urban facilities has been added.
