Residents of the capital can promptly report any facts of corruption. To do this, it is necessary to use the "Stop Corruption" service in the Smart Astana mobile application, the official website of the capital's akimat reports.
The Stop Corruption service was introduced into the mobile application in 2023. Through this, citizens can send information about cases of corruption to the relevant authorities.
According to the Department of Digitalization and Public Service, the service is designed to protect the rights of citizens and promote the formation of a just society. It was developed jointly with the city department of the Anti-Corruption Agency.
This service consists of 3 parts. The first is to "complain about corruption." Here, a citizen can file a complaint on the fact of extortion of bribes in law enforcement, tax, educational, medical, judicial systems and other government organizations.
The second is a "statement on corruption". In this section, a citizen leaves a statement on a criminal offense in relation to the corruption that has occurred or is being prepared. To do this, you need to write a handwritten application and send an electronic version.
The third "Call center 1424". Here the user can directly contact the Anti-Corruption Agency's call center and appeal the facts of corruption.
To use the Stop Corruption service, download the Smart Astana app from the App Store or Google Play and register. On the main page of the application, select the "Stop corruption" section. Click the button you need here. Tell us about the incident, the place, date, and contact details. Thus, your complaint will be sent to the city department of the Anti-Corruption Agency for prompt consideration.
