First Deputy Akim of the region Abai Shalkar Baibekov received Permanent Deputy Ambassador of Germany to Kazakhstan Ulrich Kinne. Thanks to the grant support of the German Embassy in Astana in the amount of 2,005,000 tenge allocated for the equipment of necessary premises, a social orientation room for children with mental disabilities was opened in Semey on the basis of the Public Association "Parents of Children with Special Needs".
During the meeting, the first deputy akim of the region expressed gratitude to Ulrich Kinne, stressing the importance of the contribution of the German Embassy to the creation of this center.
"This center is not only a place of education and rehabilitation, but also a space for hope and development, where every child can reach their potential and get a chance at a fulfilling life. I am sure that such initiatives bring our countries closer together and contribute to the common good," Shalkar Baibekov said.
