The winners of the Taza Astana competition for the most exemplary courtyard and a safe, cozy, clean house have become known in Astana. They also identified the names of the best gas worker and elevator operator, the official website of the capital's akimat reports.
According to project manager Gulvira Abetova, Taza Astana has passed pilot testing and proved its effectiveness. Deputies of the capital's maslikhat participated in this process as active organizers and members of environmental commissions. They set criteria and carried out rounds to evaluate participants.
By the way, the competition is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the formation of the maslikhats of the country.
Gulvira Abetova stressed that participation in the project was voluntary, and many interested applicants became participants in the pilot stage. As the project progressed, new participants joined it, inspired by the successful demonstration of the work. The organizers worked out cleanliness issues with residents, organized animation programs and formed competition criteria, which attracted the attention of other citizens.
"The selection for the award was based on full compliance with the criteria, where the nominations that closed 100% of the indicators were higher in the ranking. Houses that do not meet the criteria, but are under improvement, can apply for participation next year. The Taza Astana project is ongoing, and in the future new facilities will be added to it, such as heating stations and electrical switchboards. In the future, participants will be able to evaluate their homes using a digital platform," the project manager stressed.
She clarified that scaling up the project will allow residents to test the system on their homes, and then invite a commission to evaluate only fully prepared facilities.
Chairman of the Maslikhat of Astana Yerlan Kanalimov noted that, having timed the event to the 30th anniversary, they sought to pay attention to various areas and celebrate the most worthy participants, whose achievements and successes stand out among the rest. He stressed that the goal of the project is to form an informed attitude to cleanliness and order in every yard and maintain a high standard of the urban environment. Yerlan Kanalimov suggested making such contests annual and traditional in order to highlight the best practices among KSK and AXIS, noting that their work often goes unnoticed and underestimated.
"The chairmen of the KSK and the AXIS face many problems — they are respected as leaders, but at the same time they bear responsibilities that are often overlooked by landlords and apartment owners. KSK and OSI should be friends and helpers for residents, which will help strengthen good traditions and cohesion in homes," Yerlan Kanalimov believes.
"If we develop a regulation on the annual competition and hold it regularly, it will become an incentive to improve the maintenance of residential buildings and respect for the work of specialists who invest efforts in maintaining order and comfort in the urban environment," he said.
