For the first time in Karaganda, the regional competition "Kasym okulary" was held. Schoolchildren from all cities and districts of the region competed in the performance of poems and songs by the famous Kazakh poet Kasym Amanzholov, as well as in reading their own works.
The competition was held among students in grades 8-11. The organizer was the Regional Scientific and Practical Center for Additional education for children "Saryarka daryny".
The final was held in the Palace of schoolchildren "Kausar". It was attended by 50 winners of the city and district stages.
– The main thing for us is to increase the interest of schoolchildren in the poetry of Kasym Amanzholov. So that they realize the full power of his poetic word, – says the head of the laboratory "Development of functional literacy" Margulan Alim. – Of course, we wanted to support young poets, to give them the opportunity to express themselves in public. Participation in such events helps to develop creative thinking and self-confidence, as well as strengthens the love of literature and art. We plan to hold the Kasym Okulary competition every year.
The best reciters and vocalists were determined in three categories. All the first places went to the students of Karaganda schools.
In the nomination "Ozge emes, ozim aitam oz zhaimdy...", Arman Meirambai, a student of the B. Momyshuly secondary school, became the best.
A special jury awarded the victory in the category "Bereyin omirimnen olen zhasap..." to Izat Nurgasyr, a student of secondary school No. 61. Another student of the same school, Alina Nauryzbai, became the first in the nomination "Ozimmen birge olmesin, olenim dep...".
The candidates for the second and third places were also determined in each of the nominations. The winners and prize-winners were awarded with diplomas and cash certificates.
