In the Koksu district of the Zhetisu region, 40.8 thousand hectares of unused land were returned to state ownership in 2022-2024, of which 40.5 thousand hectares are pastures, about 232.5 are arable land. This was announced by the akim of the Zhetisu region, Beibit Isabayev, during a meeting with the population of the district, the press service of the akim of the Zhetisu region reports.
In addition, it was found that 6 thousand hectares of land are not used in 13 farms. These landowners have received appropriate notifications for a period of one year, if during this period these lands are not put into circulation, then next year measures will be taken to return to state ownership.
- Of the 40.8 thousand hectares returned in the area, 7.7 thousand hectares are assigned to the Musabek and Labasinsky rural districts as public pastures, 33 thousand hectares are included in the district land fund. Meanwhile, only one land competition has been held in the district this year. In this regard, I instruct to hold tenders on time, to hold an auction for the provision of commercial land plots, taking strict control over the issue of targeted land use," summed up the head of the region B.
