The V Republican Public Speaking Contest was held among schoolchildren

The V Republican oratory contest "Ishi - altyn, syrty - kumis soz zhaksys" has ended. About 30 students of Abai network schools from all regions of the country took part in it, competing in eloquence and oratory.

The participants chose the contest topics by lot, competing in pairs. The tasks were divided into seven thematic blocks, including "National Values", "Youth of Alash", "Business and Craft skills", "Abai Mentoring School" and others.
"The purpose of the competition is to develop the culture of speech among young people, teach the art of speech, expand their historical and cultural knowledge, increase their proficiency in the state language and form the value of the word," said Zharkyn Salenuly, a teacher at the Abai boarding school for gifted children, the author of the project.
According to the results of the competition, the Grand Prix was won by students of the Almaty State Secondary School Amina Smagul and Aisymbat Takylbek. I place – Inzhu Tileuli and Rauan Zhaksylyk from Ulytau region, Ayim Hamidullina and Ayana Malik from West Kazakhstan region. II place – Akerke Nurzhankyzy and Nursultan Orynbasar from Almaty region, Ayazhan Azamatkyzy and Gabit Rustemov from Astana. Students of the Karaganda region Zhibek Kaliyakpar and Ayala Alkazy shared the third place with Akmola students Azhar Zhanuzak and Fariza Shamenova.
Also, within the framework of the competition, a republican seminar was held for teachers of Abai network schools on the topic "Topical issues and achievements in the development of the Kazakh language, literature and public speaking".
