In 2023, Almaty resident Nurlan Biimbet won the Tauelsizdik Urpaktary grant in the field of Information Technology. Thanks to government support, he was able to implement his IT project, which is aimed at improving the quality of life of patients and reducing healthcare costs.
This is a qMed platform for patients registered at the dispensary with diagnoses such as chronic heart failure, hypertension, diabetes mellitus. They undergo a survey twice a day in their personal account, according to the results of which the program determines their health status. If the deviation from the norm is insignificant, the patient receives online recommendations. If there are risks, notification of this is sent to the district doctor.
This algorithm was developed within the framework of the concept of the Ministry of Health. The project has already been successfully implemented in two medical institutions in Almaty. Recently, he was supported in one of the polyclinics in Astana. In total, over 1,000 patients use the platform.
Nurlan Biymbet plans to expand the geography of users and the functionality of the platform. The services of doctors of a narrow profile, a psychologist, a social worker, as well as a school of healthy nutrition will be available.
Recall that the Tauelsizdik Urpaktary grant has been awarded by the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan since 2021 on the initiative of the Head of State in order to provide state support to talented youth.
