More than 3 thousand people work in the social protection system of the region, of which 704 are social workers.
So, on a professional holiday in the regional philharmonic hall, veterans of social services, employees of medical and social institutions, those who work in social assistance departments at home, centers and employment departments were honored.
Governor of the East Kazakhstan region Yermek Kosherbayev presented departmental awards, certificates of honor from the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, as well as letters of thanks to employees of the social sphere.

The governor of the region also noted that the social protection system annually undergoes new changes for the better. So, starting next year, it is expected to introduce a system of per capita financing, licensing for the provision of special social services, a system of rotation, certification and professional development of employees is being introduced, which will certainly directly affect the quality of services provided.
