A reporting meeting of Akim of Akmola region Marat Akhmetzhanov with the population of Bulandyn district was held in Makinsk, where key issues of socio–economic development of the region were discussed.
In his speech, the head of the region elaborated on the ongoing projects, and also spoke about the main trends in the development of the district.
"In his Message, the President of the country stressed the importance of unlocking industrial potential. The industrial sector of the district has good growth, and the largest poultry farm in Central Asia, the Makinsky Poultry Farm, is located on its territory. The share of the district in the total industrial production of the region is 5.9%, which creates a positive image. However, without taking into account this enterprise, this indicator decreases to 1.8%. The potential of the district is not being used effectively enough; it is necessary to diversify the industry, avoiding dependence on one large production," Akhmetzhanov noted.
Due to the convenient logistical location of the region, there are favorable conditions for the creation of efficient production for deep grain processing. It is important to consider attracting investments for the production of flour and pasta. In addition, Akmola region is among the country's leaders in wheat cultivation and flour production, which opens up wide opportunities for using local raw materials in the production of pasta, bakery products and semi-finished products.
Special attention is paid to attracting investments to solve social and infrastructural issues of the district. This year, about 10 projects have been announced – a hotel complex, a cafe, the construction of logistics warehouses, a trading house, power lines, etc.
The agricultural sector is actively developing in the district, special attention is paid to the crop industry. According to the results of the harvest, the gross grain harvest in the district amounted to 390 thousand tons with an average yield of 20 kg /ha.
The head of the region noted that there is potential in the district, the district's leadership needs to develop the livestock industry in both meat and dairy sectors.
"Concessional financing should affect the quality of life of villagers, the allocated money should be directed to the development of agriculture, increase labor productivity, create additional jobs, improve the infrastructure of settlements. Gradually, instead of irrevocable subsidies, a system of preferential loans will be developed, this has been repeatedly emphasized in speeches by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev," the head of the region noted.
Marat Akhmetzhanov highlighted the role of state support aimed at improving the lives and incomes of villagers. These are the projects "Auyl Amanaty", preferential financing under the programs "Ken Dala", "With a diploma to the village", etc.
Also during the meeting, issues of housing and road construction, housing and communal services, education, major repairs of the Prokhorovka-Kolokolovka dam, and work carried out to expand and strengthen the spillway of the Ivankovskaya dam were touched upon.
Marat Akhmetzhanov instructed the akim of the district to review approaches to work and plan the activities of all M&E structures more carefully, focusing on the final result, if necessary, accompany business structures and inform the population in a timely manner about ongoing projects and state support measures.
Residents had the opportunity to ask questions in the hall. In particular, questions were asked about the provision of housing, infrastructure development and others.
In conclusion, letters of thanks from the akim of the region noted a number of residents who contributed to the socio-economic development of the district. At a personal reception, residents of the district raised housing issues, infrastructure in rural settlements, etc.
