Fire prevention among the population during the heating period is in full swing, and it is carried out by the capital's emergency department among families belonging to socially vulnerable segments of the population, in apartment buildings, summer cottages with year-round residence, dormitories, in barrack-rented housing and in private households.
Since August 15 this year, yard rounds have been launched in the housing stock, allowing to organize explanatory work on fire prevention and life saving with each tenant individually, as a result of which more than 9 thousand private houses, 4 thousand country houses, about 820 socially vulnerable families, where more than 15 thousand people were instructed.
Special attention is required for rented housing, where fires often occur with tragic consequences, in connection with which raid rounds of the capital's dormitories and barrack-type housing are actively conducted together with law enforcement and local executive bodies taking measures within their competence with the participation of volunteers and community workers who assist in explanatory work with residents. Today, about 450 dormitories out of 1065 registered ones, where socially vulnerable segments of the population also live, are covered by preventive work.
In general, since the beginning of the heating period, preventive rounds have been carried out in 828 socially vulnerable families, which made it possible to provide targeted assistance from local executive bodies, including the installation of 255 carbon monoxide detection sensors.
"To prevent emergencies and save people's lives, our employees are actively conducting and will continue to conduct continuous preventive work, because the most valuable thing is human life!", – said the deputy head of the Emergency Department G. Astana Madiyar Murzageldiev.
