Growth in all sectors of the economy has been ensured in the Karaganda region. Industrial enterprises have produced products worth almost 3 trillion tenge in 9 months. By the same period last year, investments increased by 14.6%, reaching 680 billion tenge. By the end of the year, it is planned to launch ten projects with the creation of about three thousand jobs. For the first time, farmers in the region have harvested a record grain harvest of more than a million tons.
The head of the region Ermaganbet Bulekpayev spoke about the development of the region live on Saryarqa TV channel. He answered the question of what is being done to increase business activity.
According to the independent rating "Business Climate", Karaganda region ranks seventh in the country.
Supporting small and medium-sized businesses and creating a favorable business climate is a priority task, the governor of the region stressed.
– A lot of programs have been developed at the level of the republic. To expand financial support, the Kasipker regional program has been developed and implemented jointly with the Damu Foundation. In the near future, we want to significantly increase support in the form of subsidizing the interest rate on loans. Special attention is paid to projects in the manufacturing industry and tourism," said Ermaganbet Bulekpayev.
In addition, the creation of small industrial zones with all necessary infrastructure has begun. A business can place production there on a minimum lease basis. The first such industrial sites were launched in Karaganda and Saran. The task is to spread this experience to other cities and districts, the governor of the region noted.
The head of the region recalled that the Karaganda region was the first in the country to reduce the retail tax from 4% to 2%. As a result, the number of taxpayers applying a special tax regime has increased 16 times. Seeing the attractiveness, taxpayers from other regions came to the region. And this gave a significant replenishment of the treasury.
