The International Forum "TURKMENISTAN INVESTMENT AND TOURISM FORUM – 2024" continued in Turkestan with panel sessions. One of them was a meeting on the topic "Investment cooperation between Kazakhstan and China in the manufacturing industry."
The event was attended by Deputy akims of the region Nuralkhan Kosherov and Nurbol Turashbekov, as well as well-known business leaders and experts from both countries, heads of investment companies, representatives of financial and international organizations, local entrepreneurs. The meeting was chaired by Timur Nakipbekov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken".
Key aspects and opportunities of investment cooperation between Kazakhstan and China were widely discussed at the meeting. Joint projects promoting economic growth and development were presented. Representatives of the Turkestan region explained in which areas it is profitable to invest, as well as the proposed benefits and financing programs. During the discussion, information was provided on the achievements of the region in agriculture as the basis of a strong economy.
Several memorandums of cooperation were signed during the panel session. This, in turn, is an important step towards strengthening cooperation and implementing significant projects. The participants noted: "Such initiatives open up new horizons for investment and cooperation, contribute to the development of mutually beneficial relations. In addition, these agreements create favorable conditions for investment activity and allow the development of new initiatives that are useful for both Kazakhstan and China."
The forum continued with an exchange of views in B2B and G2B formats, where participants held productive dialogues and shared their experiences.
It is worth noting that the main purpose of this significant international event is to stimulate business, offer new investment opportunities, as well as expand cooperation between the Turkestan region and the provinces of the People's Republic of China. This event will allow the region to become one of the key economic and business centers of the new world, as well as a strategic market for large corporations and retailers.
