In the field of Zhetisu, within the framework of the Taza Kazakhstan program, along with eco-actions and traditional clean-up days, information and explanatory work among the population, as well as work in the direction of charity, has been organized.
So, on November 1, a meeting with young people on the theme "Eco-Time" was held at the Taldykorgan Youth Service Center, during which the organizers explained in detail to the participants how to properly sort garbage, how to effectively organize charity events and other similar events.
In this regard, it is worth noting local volunteer Gaziz Amanzholuly, who since 2021 has been making an invaluable contribution to the ecology of his hometown by organizing separate sorting of household garbage in the yard of his house: polyethylene, paper, metal, household waste and plastic products, urging all citizens to take an example from this undertaking.
The eco-activist sells the collected waste to waste recycling enterprises on a monthly basis, and transfers the proceeds to charitable foundations, one of which is the Hareket Foundation.
Thus, the public figure solves two important issues at once.
In addition, in August 2024, in support of the republican action, Amanzholuly, on his own initiative and with sponsorship, distributed 100 garbage sorting containers free of charge to low-income families of Taldykorgan and explained the ways to properly sort garbage.
At the same time, the specialists of the Youth Service Center of the region organized the action "Clean Environment". The purpose of the event is to maintain cleanliness in the building itself, to ensure safety and comfort in the workplace. Specialists and technical staff of the Youth Service Center took part in the action.
It should be noted that since the start of the Taza Kazakhstan campaign, 1990 units of equipment have been involved in the Zhetisu region, as a result of which 10,714 tons of garbage have been removed, 2,445 km of the irrigation network have been cleaned. During the campaign, more than 38 thousand seedlings of coniferous and deciduous trees were planted in the region.
In general, the actively organized republican environmental program "Taza Kazakhstan" has found wide and huge support among the widest segments of the population of Zhetisu. To date, more than 226 thousand people have participated in the nationwide event.
