A MODERN SCIENTIFIC LIBRARY HAS BEEN OPENED IN QYZPU
The library of the Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University was renovated this year and was named after the outstanding teacher Serala Kaniev. Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek spoke at the official opening of the renovated library.
"Today is a significant day. The Serala Kaniev Scientific Library has been created to the highest standards and is equipped with powerful electronic and digital platforms. I am sure that the library will become a center aimed at improving the knowledge of students, teachers and all book lovers," said Sayasat Nurbek, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Seraly Kaniev is a respected teacher, a well—known scientist, candidate of physical and mathematical sciences, associate professor, Honored Worker of Education of the Kazakh SSR, an excellent student of the USSR Higher school and a labor veteran who made a significant contribution to the development of the Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University. For almost 40 years, he worked at the Kazakh Women's Pedagogical Institute and educated thousands of students.
Within the framework of the event, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek presented a letter of thanks to Berik Kaniev, son of Serala Kaniev, for his great contribution to the opening of the library. In addition, QyzPU Rector Gulmira Kanai expressed gratitude and noted that the assignment of the Serala Kaniev University Library is a very important event.
The opening ceremony of the library was also attended by Akim of Almaty Yerbolat Dosayev, Chairman of the Board-Rector of the Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University Gulmira Kanai and close relatives of Serala Kaniev.
Mayor of Almaty Yerbolat Dosayev noted that this library is a real center of education and culture.
The renovated library will become a modern educational and cultural center where students, teachers and researchers will be able to work with extensive scientific funds and use the most modern technologies for educational and research activities. The new library space is designed with convenience and comfort in mind: there are zones for group and individual work, equipped with advanced equipment and access to electronic resources.
At the event, the guests visited the renovated library building and got acquainted with innovations aimed at improving the quality of education.
