Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan Svetlana Zhakupova held a "meeting without ties" with representatives of the media, during which she demonstrated the work of new digital tools aimed at improving the effectiveness of providing support measures to the population and the quality of life of people with disabilities.
In particular, the head of the Ministry of Health clearly showed how data from various government agencies accumulated in the Digital Family Map helps to move to a preventive model of providing support measures and proactively offer public services to citizens who find themselves in a difficult life situation.
Svetlana Zhakupova also demonstrated the principles of conducting a medical and social examination for assigning a disability group in a proactive format and spoke about the implementation of a pilot project to attract doctors as independent experts for a proactive correspondence examination.
The Minister informed about the innovations on the Social Services Portal, which make it possible to strengthen control over the quality of rehabilitation equipment and sanatorium treatment services provided to persons with disabilities.
Svetlana Zhakupova stressed that licensing organizations providing special social services will ensure their compliance with standards and protect the rights of people with special needs.
In addition, the head of the Ministry of Health spoke about the formation of a Register of social Workers, monitoring the accessibility of social facilities for people with disabilities, the introduction of a Digital diary for the rehabilitation of children with disabilities at home and other digital solutions.
