The meeting of the staff chaired by the regional akim Askhat Shakharov reviewed the pace of housing construction in the region, as well as the construction of social facilities.
The head of the Aktobe region's Department of Construction, Architecture and Urban Planning Yerzhan Muzdybayev noted that there is an increase in the pace of housing construction in the region. For example, according to the results of last year, 964 thousand square meters of housing were commissioned in the region, which is 14 thousand square meters more than the planned target. In 2025, it is planned to build 595.3 thousand square meters of individual housing and 354.7 thousand square meters of apartment buildings. In the cities of Aktobe and Alga, there are plans to build 142 thousand square meters or 1,857 apartments. In total, it is 965 thousand square meters.
More than 49 billion tenge has been allocated from the National Fund, republican and regional budgets for housing construction, social and infrastructure projects.
Within the framework of the national project "Cozy School", 12 schools are planned to be commissioned this year. The construction of 22 mobile educational facilities will continue and 3 new projects will be implemented, including the IT Hub. Also, the construction of a 300-seat kindergarten for children with special needs will begin in Aktobe.
Within the framework of the national project "Modernization of Healthcare in the Village", 14 facilities will be put into operation for the benefit of the people. This year, it is planned to complete construction work adjacent to the hospital in Zhanakonys, build a medical clinic in Zhem and a medical center in the village of Utek, Kobda district.
In addition, the construction of a culture house in Khromtau will be completed. In addition, a project for a 5,000-seat multifunctional sports complex and a stadium in the regional center is being developed. Physical education and health complexes in Shalkar, Khromtau, Kenkiyak and swimming pools in Shubarkuduk and a number of other villages will be commissioned.
The regional akim instructed the Department of Construction, Architecture and Urban Planning, together with the akims of the city of Aktobe and districts, to ensure the timely and high-quality completion of all facilities planned for 2025. Also, Askhat Shakharov noted the importance of organizing the construction of access roads, sidewalks and lighting of social facilities.
"To ensure the timely and high-quality implementation of all construction projects, it is necessary to strengthen control over their implementation. This applies not only to meeting deadlines, but also to the efficiency of using allocated resources, since these projects are aimed at the benefit of the population of the region and the country as a whole," the regional head said.
