The Ministry of Emergency Situations is actively implementing new methods of prevention, and the use of tools such as QR codes and even useful items from rescuers is becoming part of modern methods of drawing attention to safety issues. Such methods contribute to more effective information delivery to citizens and their involvement in preventive work.

  Employees of the Zhambyl region Ministry of Emergency Situations held an interactive event aimed at increasing the level of knowledge of residents about safety rules in a shopping and entertainment center in Taraz. Specialists conducted a survey among visitors and asked questions about actions in various emergency situations. Citizens who answered correctly were given chocolates with a QR code that allows them to go to the official page of the department. Through the link, participants can get the latest information about safety rules, useful tips and services.    

  In order to improve awareness among residents about the rules of action in emergency situations, more than 8 thousand information boards were installed in multi-storey buildings and crowded places in Shymkent city. When scanning the QR code, the boards provide information on the location of the nearest collection points for the affected population on the maps of "2GIS", "Google" and "Yandex", videos and memos on actions during an emergency, links to the pages of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of Emergency Situations on social networks, emergency services telephone numbers, and viewing options for visually impaired citizens.

  The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Zhetysu region held an action aimed at supporting fishermen during the winter period, and rescuers presented them with thermoses. As part of the event, fishermen who are fond of ice fishing were given thermoses with hot drinks. On the outside of them there is information on the main aspects of safety. This is a necessary and useful gift.

  Territorial departments continue such actions using modern technologies to increase the level of awareness of citizens and reduce the risks of emergencies.
