The Kokshetau city administration continues its active work on issuing certificates to people of retirement age.
Let us recall that since January 2025, pensioners of Kokshetau have received the opportunity to travel free of charge on public transport within the city. This project allows pensioners to easily and free of charge get to the necessary places, medical institutions, shops or social institutions.
Since the beginning of the year, 10,847 certificates have been issued, of which 5,266 pensioners have received their cards in the "Kokshe Bus Tөlem" system and can use the right to free travel.
The mobile events organized by social workers and city volunteers are of great importance. They cover a wide range of people of retirement age, which allows them to issue certificates and travel cards to people in need in an efficient and prompt manner. Social workers and volunteers helped 27 pensioners obtain certificates.
“Today I came to receive a certificate for a free travel card. I am glad that we are being supported in this way. "I am grateful to the akimat for such an initiative," noted a resident of Kokshetau.
