The Ministry of Digital Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan informs that as a result of discussions with telecom operators, they agreed to maintain the current level of tariffs for communication services until the end of 2024.
The Ministry's initiative is aimed at supporting citizens and businesses for whom stable cost of communication is an important condition for the availability of digital services. The operators expressed their willingness to meet government efforts and fix the current tariffs, despite the economic challenges.
"Communication is the foundation of everyday life, work and learning. Maintaining stable tariffs for communication services demonstrates our commitment to the interests of citizens and support for socially significant initiatives," the Ministry stressed.
The Ministry will continue to closely monitor compliance with obligations and take steps to further develop the country's telecommunications infrastructure.
