Today - an extraordinary general meeting of the National Sports Association of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Serik Zharasbayev, as well as presidents and representatives of the national sports federations of the country.

At the meeting, Islambek Salzhanov, who served as the president of the National Sports Association, gave a comprehensive report and summarized the work done over the past two years. The founders of the association adopted a new charter by voting, as a result of which Erkebulan Saidollauly Ilyasov was unanimously elected president of the National Sports Association of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The newly elected president Erkebulan Saidollauly thanked all the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan and representatives of national sports included in the association for their trust, and shared his plans for 2025.

During the meeting, Serik Zharasbayev thanked Islambek Toleubayuly for his contribution to the development of national sports and wished success to the new president Erkebulan Saidollauly. He also called for strengthening cooperation between all federations and working together to promote national sports at the global level.
