Alina Dauranova, an athlete from Astana, won the World Cup in speed skating among juniors and neo-seniors in Collalbo, Italy, the official website of the capital's akimat reports.
She took first place in the neo-seniors category at a distance of 1000 meters, finishing with a time of 1:21.74. The silver medal went to Italian Maybrit Wigle (1:22.77), and the bronze went to Norwegian Aine Nakken (1:23.50).
Previously, Alina Dauranova won gold in the team sprint and silver in the 500 meters.
