The republican "Clean" initiative, initiated by the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Kazakhstan" environmental campaign, on the instructions of the akim of Zhetysai district Serik Mamytov, mass Saturday work was carried out today in the city, township, and all rural districts of the district.

During the cleanup, which involved about 200 residents, more than 300 employees and local entrepreneurs, and 16 pieces of equipment, the territory of parks and flower beds, historical monuments was cleared of grass, dead trees, and 20 tons of household solid waste were removed from streets and ditches. In addition, the tree trunks were whitewashed and seedlings were planted.

– Korshagan Keeping the environment clean is the duty of every citizen. In this regard, we call on all residents of the district to contribute to maintaining cleanliness and protecting nature. Senbilik will continue throughout the year, not only on designated days, but also by each resident cleaning their own yards and gardens, - says the district akim.
