The head of the region, Gauez Nurmukhambetov, visited the fire station in Smirnovo. The building, built 60 years ago, is in a state of emergency. To solve the problem, a decision was made to build a block-modular fire station.
In the future, it is planned to install a training tower and build a dormitory. These measures will provide firefighters with the necessary working conditions and allow them to respond quickly to emergencies.

The Smirnovo school-gymnasium was renovated with the support of the "People of Kazakhstan" Foundation, modernization work was carried out here, and now the school has a 2nd STEM laboratory equipped with modern technology. A new sports complex was opened in the village of Ghornyk, Akkayin district.
