Today, a real sports holiday took place in the village of Petrovka, Yesil district - a new indoor hockey court was opened here with the participation of the governor of the North Kazakhstan region Gauez Nurmukhambetov. The new facility will become a center for the development of mass sports, opening up new opportunities for villagers and children. Thanks to the sports complex, new stars and champions will emerge here in the future.
The development of rural sports is one of the main directions of state policy. Last year, 37 sports facilities were built in the region, 28 of which are in rural areas. These are sports complexes, hockey courts and mini-football fields.
"This year, we will further develop the infrastructure: a new sports complex, swimming pool, hockey field will be opened, and the modernization of the "Karasai" stadium will be completed. The construction of an ice palace has begun in Petropavlovsk. In addition, a football academy with an indoor football arena will be built. We will continue to create conditions for every resident to play sports, lead an active lifestyle and achieve high results," the head of the region said.
