The implementation of the Head of State's task to increase the share of processed products in the agro-industrial complex to 70% continues in the Akmola region. To achieve this goal, the agricultural processing industry is developing rapidly in the region. Currently, 67 enterprises that process meat, milk, oilseeds, and also grind flour operate in the region. In addition, one of the main competitive advantages of the region is its proximity to the capital. Every day, about 80 tons of meat and meat products, 320 tons of dairy products, 700 thousand eggs, and 25 tons of flour are delivered to the capital's market.
Akim of the Akmola region Marat Akhmetzhanov got acquainted with the production of the "Moya Ferma" LLP dairy plant during a working trip to the Tselinograd district near the capital. The enterprise produces more than 15 dairy products, which are sold in large retail outlets in the capital.
"We process three tons of milk per day. The main advantage of our plant is that it is the closest enterprise to the capital. This year we decided to expand our family business, we plan to process 30 tons of milk per day,” said the director of the enterprise Kuanysh Naimanov.
Currently, the enterprise employs 25 people on a permanent basis. As a result of expanding the business and modernizing production, it is planned to create more than 60 new jobs.
The head of the region noted the importance of developing processing enterprises in the region and the support provided by the state.
“Creating a food belt around the capital is one of the strategic development priorities of the region. You must constantly improve the quality of products and be competitive. To this end, the state provides comprehensive support to agricultural producers every year,” M. Akhmetzhanov noted.
