A total of 29 schools are planned to be built in the Turkestan region within the framework of the "Cozy School" national project. Their engineering infrastructure systems are 100% involved. Last year, 13 schools were commissioned under this project. Construction of 16 schools is underway in 2025. This issue was discussed at a weekly meeting of the Turkestan region's akim Nuralkhan Kusherov.

– At the initiative of the Head of State, 29 schools have been built in our region under the "Zhayly Meket" project. A number of them have been commissioned. The remaining schools, whose construction is currently underway, should be commissioned in a timely manner. Keep an eye on the quality of work. Also, carry out work on appointing and organizing directors of these educational centers. This is an important project aimed at improving the quality of education, - said Nuralkhan Kusherov.

The head of the Turkestan regional construction department, Sultangali Zhalkul, reported on the progress of construction work. Of the 16 schools to be commissioned in 2025, 12 have had their roofs covered, and work has begun on interior finishing, engineering infrastructure installation, and exterior cladding. Construction work is 60% complete. The main frames of the buildings of the remaining 4 schools have been erected, and roofing, exterior finishing, and interior plastering are being carried out.
