Minister of Emergency Situations Major General Chingiz Arinov awarded Altay Myrzabayev, Chief Inspector of the Department of Defense and Law and Order of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with the badge "For Courage in an Emergency Situation" for his courage and professionalism in saving lives and extinguishing a burning car as a result of a traffic accident.
Let us recall that on the night of February 2, 2025, a fire broke out in the Esil district of Astana as a result of a traffic accident involving two passenger cars. Altay Myrzabayev, passing by with his family, immediately ran to the victims with a fire extinguisher.
"While extinguishing the fire before the arrival of the Emergency Situations Ministry forces, I asked a witness standing next to me to call 112, and then shouted to everyone who came later to bring fire extinguishers! "Then I started rescuing two injured people from the second car, which was crushed by the impact," our hero recalls.
The fire was quickly extinguished, and the injured were handed over to the emergency medical team.
