A concert dedicated to traditional viola music was held at the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory.
The event was dedicated to the memory of Yakov Fudiman (1934–2007), a famous Kazakh violist, professor, holder of the Order of "Kurmet", founder of the Kazakh viola school.
The evening was attended by students of Ya. Fudiman, musicians and lovers of viola music. Yakov Fudiman left a rich legacy in the field of music. He also created a large school that educated more than 150 students. Among them are honored cultural figures, laureates of international competitions, leading teachers and artists.
The evening in memory of Yakov Fudiman was not just a concert, but a unique cultural event that highlighted the maestro's great contribution to the development of viola art in Kazakhstan.
