Today, the grand opening ceremony of a 600-seat educational institution within the framework of the “Cozy School” national project was held in the “Sayazhai” microdistrict of the Zhanakorgan district with the participation of the regional akim Nurlybek Nalibayev.
The event was attended by the deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament Murat Abenov, heads of responsible sectors, law enforcement agencies, industry veterans and representatives of the intelligentsia.
The head of the region congratulated the residents of the district on the opening of the new school and touched upon the work done.
“At the expanded meeting of the Government chaired by the Head of State, I reported on the results of the socio-economic development of the region. Our President gave a positive assessment of the economic growth of our region.
At this meeting, the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Kemeluly said: “This year, the “Cozy School” national project will be completed. A network of support schools is being created in all regions in accordance with modern requirements. "On my instructions, another 1,300 schools will be renovated within three years," he said.
With the special support of our President and the Government, serious initiatives are being taken in the Syr region and creative projects are being implemented. We are always interested in improving the education of the next generation and raising the prestige of teachers in society. Thanks to constant support, the education sector of our region has achieved success. Schools with renovated architecture have flourished.
Last year, the funds allocated to the education sector were 270 billion tenge, while this year's budget reached 308 billion 134 million tenge, an increase of 16.9 percent. The opening of new schools is not just the construction of buildings, it is providing new opportunities for outstanding students who are receiving education in a new era.
As part of the “Zhayly Mektep” national project, implemented at the initiative of the Head of State, the construction of 10 schools for 6,900 students began in the region, and we handed over the first 900-seat school in the regional center in October last year.
At the beginning of the year, we commissioned schools for 300 seats in the “Zhanaryk” village of the Zhanakorgan district, in the city of Aral, and in the city of Kyzylorda, for 600 seats. During the year, we will complete the construction of 5 more “Zhayly Mektep”.
Today, we are handing over to the benefit of the country the “Zhayly Mektep” with 600 seats, which was implemented with the coordination of the Samruk-Kazyna Joint-Stock Company and costing 4 billion 709 million tenge. With this, we have solved the problem of the state school attended by our children in the rapidly growing “Sayazhai” microdistrict in the Zhanakorgan village. Now students do not need to attend other schools.

At the meeting, Murat Abenov congratulated the residents of the district on the opening of the new school, and public figure, Honored Citizen of Kyzylorda region Ibragim Abibullayev blessed it.
It should be noted that last year, 6 schools were built in our region, and additional buildings for 5 schools were donated to the country. Thus, the problem of dilapidated schools No. 248 in the village of Tokabay, Aral district, No. 252 in the village of Shieli, and No. 133 in the village of Zhanseit was resolved.
With the sponsorship of the KazHermunai company, a modern 350-seat "Student Palace" in Kyzylorda city, a 200-seat "Student House" and a 50-seat "Art School" were donated to the country. During the year, a 200-seat "Student House" and a 50-seat "Art School" will also begin operating in the Shieli district.
The "Academy of Creativity" in the regional center, a new building of a music college, will be completed in May, and a physics and mathematics boarding school for gifted children will be completed in March.
This year, a 150-seat school will be built in the "Zhalanash" village of the Aral district at the expense of the "Educational Infrastructure Support Fund". Last year, 8 school buildings were overhauled for 3 billion 100 million tenge.
In accordance with the Head of State's instruction to modernize 1,300 schools, 51 schools in the region will undergo overhaul over the next 3 years, 9 of which will undergo overhaul this year.
At the solemn event, citizens who contributed to the socio-economic development of the Zhanakorgan district and employees of the contractor who built the modern educational institution were awarded.
