Minister of Agriculture Aidarbek Saparov held a meeting with the management of Baiterek National Management Holding JSC, as well as representatives of financial institutions that are part of the holding.
The meeting focused on issues related to the acceptance of applications for early financing of spring sowing and harvesting in 2025.
As part of the implementation of the President's instructions, it is planned to allocate up to 700 billion tenge for these purposes, of which 560 billion tenge will be attracted from market capital sources.
From November 29, 2024, financing has been opened under the Ken Dala 2 program of the Agricultural Credit Corporation JSC with a preferential interest rate of 5% per annum. A total pool of applications for approximately 205.1 billion tenge has been formed from 1,364 agricultural producers, including applications for 195.5 billion tenge from 1,253 agricultural producers. 907 agricultural enterprises were financed for the amount of 125.6 billion tenge.
During the meeting, the issue of eliminating certain requirements for farmers when obtaining loans for field work was considered. The Minister's instructions were taken into account by the Baiterek holding and will be reviewed in the near future.
In addition, during the meeting, the issues of expanding cooperation, areas of preferential lending, attracting investments in the agricultural sector, projects implemented with the funds of AKK JSC in priority areas of the agro-industrial complex, new financing mechanisms and plans for 2025 were considered.
As part of the implementation of the instructions of the Head of State, Aidarbek Saparov noted the importance of cooperation in achieving sustainable development of agriculture, the need to introduce new directions in supporting the agricultural sector and increase the pace of financing the industry.
