Akim of the region Nurlan Urankhaev visited a number of facilities in Semey and checked the progress of construction.
Now a block-modular point is being built in the Karagaily microdistrict. This facility is designed to improve the Heat Supply System of one of the dynamically developing areas of the city. Now work continues on the installation of boilers, air ducts and sewers at the construction site. Work on laying the foundation of the chimney and coal storage facility is also being completed.
The head of the region also got acquainted with the construction of a school for 1200 seats, which is being built within the framework of the National Project "comfortable school". The construction is planned to be completed by December 2024. As part of the national project, advanced technologies and modern approaches to construction are being used.
"The implementation of these projects will not only improve the quality of life of Semey residents, but also increase the comfort and safety of the city. We must fulfill our duty to the residents and complete the construction on time. Therefore, the pace of work should not slow down. Winter is under pressure, " the governor of the region said to the contractors.
In connection with the work on the construction site, the mayor instructed his deputy Dimitri Garikov and the heads of departments not to relax supervision.
