Akmola region continues to implement important infrastructure projects aimed at improving the quality of life of the population and supporting the region's economy. As part of the implementation of the address of the head of state on gasification of settlements, residents of Zhibek Zholy village of Arshalinsky district received access to natural gas.
Gasification of a large settlement will allow more than 2,000 yards to be connected to the gas supply system by the end of this year, and the total coverage will be about 6,000 homeowners. The length of the gas pipeline in the village of Zhibek Zholy is about 250 kilometers.
The launch ceremony was held with the participation of Akim of the region Marat Akhmetzhanov, chairman of the Board of JSC "NC"QazaqGaz" Sanzhar Zharkeshov and deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
"The main task set by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is to increase the standard of living of the population. Today we have provided the villagers with natural gas.This is one of the most important areas of our work. This year, 12 projects for gasification of settlements with coverage of 125 thousand people are being implemented in the region," the governor of the region noted.
"Gas connection is not only an improvement in living conditions for the population, but also an important step towards sustainable development of settlements. The National Company QazaqGaz is constantly working to ensure energy security and improve the quality of life in different regions of the country," Sanzhar Zharkeshov said.
One of the first connected subscribers was the Orazov family.
"This is a very happy and long-awaited event for our family. Our 5 grandchildren live with us, and we try to make their lives more comfortable," said the head of the family Esirkepbay Orazov.
In addition, one-time social assistance is provided in Arshaly district to cover the costs of connecting and installing gas equipment to socially vulnerable categories of citizens. The amount of assistance is up to 100 MCI (369,200 tenge), depending on the actual costs. Owners of Housing registered and permanently residing in the territory of arshalinsky district can receive these funds.
For the convenience of citizens, a service center has been opened in the village akimat, where residents can receive all the necessary assistance for gas connection, housing registration and social assistance. In addition, registration measures are carried out here to update data on the population and accurately calculate gasification costs.
It should be noted that in 2022, 16 settlements located along the main gas pipeline route were gasified in the region. 8.9 billion tenge was allocated for the implementation of the project. In the future, it is planned to gasify the Tselinograd district.
