The clinker production line of a large cement production enterprise has started its work in Kordai District of Zhambyl region. This is one of the most modern and unique waste-free projects in Central Asia.
Akim of Zhambyl region Yerbol Karashukeyev, management staff and employees of the Korcem plant, representatives of the construction company and residents of the district took part in the launch ceremony.
The head of the region emphasized the importance of the project for the region's economy.
– In accordance with the instructions of the head of state, a number of investment projects have been successfully implemented in the region, large production facilities are being built.
The Korcem cement plant, the construction of which was completed in kordai district, is a real proof of this. The production line of clinker raw materials of a large-scale project has been launched.
This cement plant makes a significant contribution to the development of the region's economy, improving the well-being of the population. It contributes to stable employment of local residents,-the head of the region said, noting that the authorities will provide comprehensive support for the smooth operation of production.
It should be noted that the construction of the enterprise was carried out by the Singapore company "Alacem". 50 billion for the project.tenge was invested.

The Korcem cement plant is planned to reach full capacity next year.
3,500 tons of clinker (90% cement-containing raw materials) will be developed per day on the production line launched today.
- Today we are launching the "heart" of the plant, that is, the main production part. We strive to increase the competitiveness and export potential of this industry, covering the domestic market with domestic products, – says project manager Stanislav Shcherbakov.
According to Benjamin Cheng, managing director of International Cement Group LLP, this project is supported by the state.
– Our company plans to attract other potential investors to create new jobs in the region. Zhambyl region has great opportunities to export products. Most importantly, we have seen from our own experience that all conditions are created for investors, — he said.
It should be noted that the investment portfolio of Zhambyl region amounted to 3.4 trillion tenge.there are 80 projects worth tenge. The implementation of these projects will create an additional 4.1 thousand jobs.
214 billion tenge this year.it is planned to implement 35 investment projects with the creation of 1,453 jobs in tenge. Today, the cost is 146.7 billion rubles.20 projects worth tenge were launched. As a result, 674 citizens were employed.
