Ministry of Agriculture: empty capacity of elevators for storage of grain from New crops amounted to 7.6 mln tons

To date, with an average yield of 16 c/ha, 26.6 million tons of grain and legumes have been threshed.
The total capacity of grain storage facilities in the Republic is 30 million tons, which fully meets the needs for storing grain for the current year.
The utilization rate of licensed grain storage facilities is 42% with a free volume of 7.6 million tons. In the main grain regions, free power indicators are also at a stable level:
Kostanay region: 1.6 million tons of free volume;
North Kazakhstan region: 1.8 million tons of free volume;
Akmola region: 2.5 million tons of free volume.
The ministry continues to actively work to ensure uninterrupted grain intake and storage.
As part of the instructions given at the operational headquarters under the chairmanship of deputy prime minister S. M. Zhumangarin, work is underway to put into operation previously unused elevators.
"In North Kazakhstan region," "ashchykol elevator" "LLP with a capacity of 74.6 thousand tons was launched, in Kostanay region- ""Olzha Denisovskoye 1 "" LLP with a capacity of 173 thousand tons." Grain acceptance is currently underway.
The current storage capacity is sufficient to effectively manage harvesting and storage. The operation of elevators is under constant control.
