A bright victory of Kazakh athletes last week

Boxing: At the 76th Strandja Cup tournament in Bulgaria, boxers from the Kazakh national team won 5 gold, 9 silver, and 4 bronze medals, breaking the team record. National team member Torekhan Sabyrkhan was named the best boxer of the tournament.

Skating: National team athlete Yevgeny Koshkin won one gold and one bronze medal at the World Cup stage in Heerenveen, Netherlands.

Swimming: At the first stage of the World Cup in the French capital, Paris, our compatriots won one gold and two silver medals.

Breaking: Dias Aubakirov broke the team record at the Fresh Mo Jam international rating tournament organized in Indonesia. He defeated Victor Montalvo, bronze medalist of the Paris Olympics and two-time world champion, in the final.

Wrestling: At the rating tournament held in Tirana, the capital of Albania, the national team athletes won 1 gold, 1 silver, and 6 bronze medals.

Judo: Abylaikhan Zhubanazar won a bronze medal at the Grand Slam in Tashkent (Uzbekistan).

Freestyle mogul: Our compatriot Anastasia Gorodko won a bronze medal at the World Cup in Almaty. Anastasia beat American Tess Johnson in the junior final.

Taekwondo: The Kazakh team won 1 gold, 5 silver and 8 bronze medals at the Bulgaria Open G1 tournament in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Water polo: The Kazakh men's and women's national teams won bronze medals at the Asian Championships in Zhaoqing, China.
