Astana, November 4, 2024 – in connection with the escalation of tensions in the Middle East region, on behalf of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, with the participation of the relevant state bodies of Kazakhstan, measures were carried out to evacuate citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan and their families from Lebanon to the country.
This operation was organized through the cities of Istanbul and Dubai, as a result of which 41 people were safely transported from Beirut to the cities of Astana and Almaty from October 17 to 31, 2024.
The evacuation was carried out in order to protect the rights and interests of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan who remained in the zone of military conflict.
