The III International Theater Festival "theater all" dedicated to the drama of the Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, writer-playwright Roza Mukanova, laureate of the State prize named after Abai, which took place from October 28 to November 3, has ended in Astana. The award ceremony was held at the Kazakh National Music and drama theater named after K. Kuanyshbayev in the capital, the official website of the capital's mayor's office reports.
The best theater groups from Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan took part in the International Festival, which is being held in Astana for the third time this year.
"The main goal of the festival with the participation of theaters was to popularize the spiritual values of the drama of the famous writer – playwright Roza Mukanova in the cultural space of the Turkic world to the younger generation, to strengthen creative partnership between theaters. Astana city akimat and the Department of Culture, the theater of The Musical young spectator, for such purposes, two performances were staged every day from 11.00 to 19.00, and the week-long international theater festival ended. A fruitful and successful week of the festival, which gave the audience a real theatrical atmosphere, became a special event in the cultural space of the country," said Askhat Maemirov, director of the theater of The Musical young spectator.
According to him, master classes and creative meetings were held within the framework of the theater festival. The Kazakh National University of Arts hosted a demonstration of independent works of students of the Faculty of "theater art and art history" on the drama of R. Mukanova, as well as an international scientific and practical conference with the participation of domestic and foreign scientists in the National Library.
Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, chairman of the jury Aliya Bopezhanova noted that such a festival will affect the development of art.
"Festival movements have a very strong impact on the development of art in general, the development of competition and new searches. Thus, many theater artists are recognized and great works are born. I wish my contemporary Rosa creative success. His works serve as food for theaters and make an invaluable contribution to the development of our spirituality," Aliya Bopezhanova said.
