In the field of metallurgy, more than 220 scientific and scientific-methodological works have been published, including 9 textbooks, 1 textbook, 2 monographs and 10 patents. His research is published in scientific journals included in the international citation database Scopus and Webof Science.
In 2015, he studied under the SPIID-2 program at Nu, Asia-Pacific Ritsumekan University(Japan), Lund University (Sweden) in the direction of" research activities". In 2021, he took practice-oriented training courses at the University of the coast of Lazur (France).
The main activity of A. Zhunusov is the training and research activities of Engineering, Scientific and scientific – pedagogical personnel for the mining and metallurgical sector of the country's economy.
Under his leadership, more than 500 engineers and bachelors and 35 Masters in the specialty "Metallurgy" were trained. At the moment, 4 doctoral dissertations have been defended under his leadership.
