In Budva, Republic of Montenegro, from October 21 to November 3, the Youth World Boxing Championship was held. 598 athletes from 73 countries took part in the global boxing competition, where they fought on the square.
5 Turkestan athletes took part in the national team, 1 gold and 3 bronze medals were won.
Among the Masters of leather gloves of the Turkestan region, who made a prize in this Alamanda, the talented boxer Torehan Sabyrkhan, who put on gloves in the weight of 67 kg, put Atoy in the ring, brought all his opponents to his knees and shone the gold medal around his neck. And in the fight among girls, three of our compatriots became bronze medalists. In particular, the bronze medals were awarded to Bagzhan Otynbay in 52 kg, Aruzhan Dzhanabayeva and Shugyla Nalibay in 63 kg.
