The Regional volleyball tournament among girls born in 2008-2009 was held in the city of Zhetysai, organized by the students of the KSU "zhetysai Sports Club" of the Department of culture, language development, Physical Culture and sports of the zhetysai district and Islam Pirnazarov.
Deputy akim of Zhetysai district Turyshbek Yelshibayev, head of the Department of culture, language development, Physical Culture and sports of Zhetysai district Yerkebulan Seydaliyev, director of the KSU "Zhetysai Sports Club" Talaskhan Bitureev, relatives and students of Islam Turdybayuly took part in the grand opening of the competition and wished good luck to the athletes.
About 300 athletes from 20 teams from all districts of the Turkestan region and the city of Shymkent took part in the regional competition, which is to promote the continuity of generations in society, develop mass sports, increase interest in volleyball among young people, share their experience with young athletes who followed in the footsteps of the older generation, improve the professional skills of young people, remember the great teacher Islam Pirnazarov.
Pirnazarov Islam Turdybayevich was born in 1959. Since 1984, he worked until the end of his life as a teacher of Physical Culture and primary military training at the secondary school named after M. Auezov in warm-up Su rural district. As a teacher, he created a volleyball team among schoolgirls, became a prize-winner at district, regional and national competitions.
According to the organizers, the tournament, which is held for the second time this year, is planned to be held at the national and international levels in the future.
The results of the games, which were contested between the teams, were summed up in accordance with the rules approved by the judges, the IV place was taken by the team of Kazygurt district, the III place was taken by the national team of Maktaaral district, and the II place was taken by the players from the village of zhetysai district. The first place was awarded to the Masters of the air ball of the city of Turkestan, who became the champion.
In addition, the teams that won prizes and individual players who showed the best example of the game – Azhar Zhumagulova "best defender", Aizere Hamidulla "best striker", Ulzhalgas Kozhakai "best ball catcher", Nazima Karimova "best player", Alena Romanova and Zhakhongir Madaliyev "best coach", Batyrkhan Abdyashim and Bakdaulet Sattar "best referee".
At the end of the competition, the winners and the best were awarded with financial prizes, cups, medals and diplomas of the organizers.
