The Republican environmental action "Taza Kazakhstan", aimed at improving the state and improving the environment, continues in the West Kazakhstan region. Today, the campaign "Taza Alem" was held in the Central Market District of Uralsk, bringing together active residents of the city, young people and volunteers.
- On the initiative of the head of state, the National Environmental event "Taza Kazakhstan" is being held throughout the country. And today this action is also held in our region. Taking advantage of this moment, we invite citizens and young people to take part in the action, because the prosperity and improvement of the city is in our hands. Participation in the development of our country is the duty of every citizen, - said Nursultan Chapayev, deputy head of the Resource Center for youth work of the West Kazakhstan region.
At the end of the event, the best participants of the action were awarded with memorable gifts.
To date, more than 172 thousand residents and 4 thousand institutions and enterprises took part in the sanitary work. Within the framework of the campaign, more than 76 thousand yards were collected, including the territory of 2508 apartment buildings and more than 74 thousand individual residential buildings. Also, 231 parks and squares were landscaped, more than 59 thousand tree seedlings were planted, more than 6 thousand paving slabs were repaired. The territory of 1221 social facilities and 1251 historical and cultural monuments were cleared.
For environmental measures, 1,795 units of equipment were involved, and 61,580 tons of garbage were removed.
In addition, 112 of the 198 illegal garbage dumps identified by JSC" Garysh sapary " have been eliminated, and work continues to eliminate the remaining 56 garbage dumps.
