Akim of the region Ermaganbet Bulekpayev criticized the management model of the Shakhtar club at the meeting, where the issues of football development were discussed. Recently, the sports achievements of the team have been disappointing. According to the results of the current season, Shakhtar is in the last place in the list, that is, it is the main contender to leave the Premier League and enter the level of the first league.
- This is the result of systematic gaps in the regional football policy. Unfortunately, the club does not have a long – term development strategy, marketing strategy, - said the head of the region. - The selection system of football players is uncritical. Of the 25 footballers, 12 are Legionnaires. In general, the club has become a fund to support Foreign Legionnaires. A stable financial model has not been developed.
As a way out, Yermaganbet Bulekpayev stated the need to take a number of urgent and strategic measures. In particular, the revision of management approaches and personnel is an urgent issue. Within a month, the club's strategy should be developed, within the framework of which it is necessary to take into account a plan for the development of football infrastructure.
The governor of the region also gave instructions on the development of children's and youth football, training of domestic specialists.
First of all, it is necessary to open branches of the Shakhtar Football Club on the basis of regional PCCs. This allows the club academy to create a selection system for selection. Secondly, in order to open the way for young local talents, he instructed to organize a football tournament among children's and youth teams next year.
- The head of state has defined a number of tasks for the development of professional and mass sports. In this regard, it is necessary to train highly qualified specialists. It is necessary to strengthen the work of the Football Center and the Academy for the development of children's and youth football in the region. It is necessary to consider the training of children's coaches, including the possibility of their training abroad, – said Yermaganbet Bulekpayev.
The real sporting milestone is that Shakhtar should return to the Premier League next season.
During the meeting, Yermaganbet Bulekpayev spoke about the general plan for the development of football and sports. For example, a sports cluster has been created in Karaganda, within the framework of which it is planned to build a modern stadium in accordance with UEFA standards, a football arena where you can train all year round. For this purpose, 67 hectares of land are provided on the territory of the city. In addition, the Central Stadium in the city will be renovated next year.
